Such dedication to his craft has served Dr. Klatsky well during his nearly 40 years as a cosmetic surgeon, and it has served his patients even better. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Klatsky has consistently gone above and beyond what is required and expected of a cosmetic surgeon, setting new standards for excellence in the field.
In addition to being a universally respected practitioner, Dr. Klatsky is also a renowned teacher, lecturer, and contributor to field publications. He is currently the director of cosmetic surgery at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and is the Editor-In-Chief of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, the most widely read publication in cosmetic surgery.
He has deep involvement with many professional societies, having been a founding member and past president of the John Staige Davis Society of Plastic Surgeons of Maryland, as well as having held many offices including president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). The ASAPS bestowed upon Dr. Klatsky their Distinguished Service Award in 2002, a rare honor given to only nine physicians since the society’s inception in 1967.
